LHR全744化可能會暫時擱置,換黎係加開多一班用34C既256/257.......

另外,我收到一個傳聞,因為LHR加多一班34C,原本用34C既888/889 (HKG-YVR-JFK)會轉返做744(暫時未firm會唔會有74J),至於另一班去YVR既838/839就會轉用34D.....##

好野!新航班返到英國的時間超正. 正合我呢d人呀!
一於將明年一月起返英國d航班改晒做呢班機先!

原本用34C既888/889 (HKG-YVR-JFK)會轉返做744(暫時未firm會唔會有74J),至於另一班去YVR既838/839就會轉用34D.....

um.. what can i say.... 888/889 upgrade service = 838/839 downgrade?.. dun cathay knows that so many people pick 838/839
also.. too bad for Vancouver ground staff.. they don't like 343 rite?

sigh.... looks like i have to choose 888/889 in the future.

I think CX must did some research before they change the aircraft,

but why using 744 is upgrade, using 340 is downgrade?

I cannot see the different.

The reason of down-grading is that 34D has no first class seats.

884/885係用744,LAX係881/882係全74J,880/883係74J/744 mix.......

9月個陣346淨係行以下航線,CX506/507,CX830/831同埋CX888/889........

國泰香港至倫敦線的龐大客量，是足以用A380全雙層空中巴士客機飛行的，筆
者認為國泰應考慮購入該種機款以應需求。

該機款除了倫敦線以外，洛杉磯線亦可以採用。

其中一競爭對手維珍航空已表明，明年起會改用A380空中巴士飛行倫敦－－香港－－悉尼航線。

Wait... VS is not taking delivery of their A380 until late 2007/early 2008 due to the delay of upgrading in some airport to handle A380 and also Airbus problem...
Also QF has said that they will place their A380 first on Trans-Pacific flight and SYD-LHR will soon follow... But not so sure about if they will use A380 on via SIN or HKG serves...
Also there is a chance of CX ordering some A380... Lets wait and see when they announce the order in a few months time...

The schedules of the CX flights between HKG and LHR~~
Nowadays until 31/7/2005:
i) Operating by using 747-400:
CX251->CX250
CX253->CX254
ii) Operating by using 340-300:
CX255->CX252

On or after 1/8/2005 (until 30/11/2005), there will be an interchange of planes on CX255,252 and CX253,254
i) Operating by using 747-400:
CX251->CX252
CX255->CX250
ii) Operating by using 340-300:
CX253->CX254

On or after 1/12/2005
i) Operating by using 747-400:
CX251->CX252
CX255->CX250
ii) Operating by using 340-300:
CX257->CX256
CX253->CX254
