減少兜路
"A classic example is straightening. Over the years many compromises have been reached to appease certain constituents. So some routes that go from A to C often do so by calling in and out of B. We've have had a few cases where we can demonstrate that something like 95% of passengers would benefit from not going into B. But if we propose that, then the constituents of B are very vociferous. Nobody is telling the district council that it is actually a benefit for 95% of the people."

"Buses are a big subject and our customers have a lot to say. We monitor social websites and forums. The population here is also very discerning, and is quick to tell you if you're not doing things right. We have a Facebook page and we get some interesting feedback."
加設轉乘
"'We're trying to apply that concept to on-route bus stops, which would give us more station-type interchanges. We could then market certain flows, where we'd be talking about every 5 to 10 min in and the same frequency out. We need to give more visibility to these 'invisible' interchange points, where we can offer good integration fares.' Those transfer points would be identified by giving them a different look from standard street stops. '... People should know when they can see it they can swap routes at a discount.'"

引入12.8米巴士
"KMB also wants to increase the capacity of its tri-axles and Savelli says a prototype 12.8m Enviro500 should hold 149 passengers, 10% more than the 12m version. 'If we're trying to rationalise routes, it seems sensible to get as big a bus as possible.'"

學習外國
"In Seoul, a console in each cab tells the driver exactly how many minutes the next bus on the same route is behind, and the nearest one in the front is. The driver is being told to manage the headway. That's his or her obligation. And to be honest who better to do that than KMB?"
特快Route-branding
"'Another similar development will be the unveiling of a new KMB Express brand for its longer-distance services, which will differentiate two distinctly separate spheres of operations.... 'At the moment we could take two of our gold buses. They look exactly the same. One is stopping and starting all day while the other gets straight on the highway and is a completely different experience. We are trying to differentiate the market. ' "

而家新車果種壓迫感真係好大,其實新舊車行距係咪一樣? |

同一車身長度下,要"坐"更多人,個位唯有偷薄再set直身d,呢招飛機都用緊,大環境都係咁做 |
