[UK] Farewell to Step Entrance Buses in Reading

Another town gone Low Floor.  Goodbye Metro.

Pictures of a Reading Metro cannot be found, a Goldline Titan was used instead.
(over 50,000 pictures in the database is just no fun)

so, here is a photo taken yesterday- the last normal weekday operation.
Only 4 Metro remained and they worked routes 31/3 63/5 111/2.
Here is Metro 469 on route 65; This vehicle started life with London Buses and Harrow Buses, when the network started in 1988/9.  When the contracts finished 5 years later, the bus was sold to Reading Buses, which have been using it since.
