LDN: the new solo version

Since we discussed solo before, here is a photo of the modified Solo version from Optare. The company gave this model a computer generated name which I forgot..

Here is Arriva's 2401 from High Wycombe in orange livery and signwriting for routes 38/9 - being used on route 305 to Uxbridge. this is the first time I see this ugly machine.

This is the Versa. It is a newly developed vehicle from Optare, NOT a modified Solo - although its parts can be shared with the Solo and, for the matter the longer, heavy duty Tempo.

The front overhang of the bus is so long
but I wonder if this will help to increase the capacity of the bus

as the space on the overhang seems totally occupied by the entrance and the cab
