This was the very first KCR Bus livery, on the fleet of "East Rail" feeder only.

I wonder how many buses had this color scheme?  As the one at the back (right side) seemed to have the "usual" one.

I have never had a chance in riding on a MCW Metrobus Mk1.
Is the engine sound the same as MK2 ?

This scheme only applies on some of the second-hand Metrobus, they later repainted to the standard "Leyland Olympian" livery.

There are some other photos on the book "MCW Metrobus".

Yes, it sound almost the same as later Metrobus Mk2s.
They are using the same Gardner 6LXB engines with similar mechanical settings.

But the tyre sizes are different though.
While the Metrobus Mk2 are using 11R22.5, their Mk1 cousins are using smaller tyres.

How about CMB MC?
Same Spec. between MC & above bus?
