No. The Trident was being design back at the days when the first Arrows come out. The Arrow is always a transitional product - one keeping Dennis a presence on the double decker market when they decided to put the plug on the Dominator until something better i.e. the Trident comes along. I don't think Dennis anticipated the Arrow would be so completely thrashed by the Volvo Olympian juggernaut.
