Well, it's a bit wishful... more importantly, until someone writes to them to express serious desire to save this bus, I think it will be kept being used until it effectively falls apart. I'd like to think it should be cheap to buy it though - as a yardstick, a slightly newer Metrobus, with MUCH better condition, would cost around GBP3,000 (eqv. $35K). I reckon this will cost around half of that value.
It's great news though, I can't believe there is still a runner after all these years. I always think it's a real shame almost none of this remarkable type have survived into preservation, but it may be all is not lost (just yet!).
