It's nothing to do with the Titan itself (which is very advance at its time and proved itself a great bus in Britain), but the production problem suffered by Leyland at the time. TC1 was one of the two Titans ordered by CMB, the 2nd vehicle was never completed by late-1979. By then things moved on and the Metrobus, with a year headstart, became the strong favourite of CMB. By then the Titan would never be considered seriously and order of the 2nd bus was cancelled.
