I wonder if this is a Voith 4 speed box installed?
EDIT: silly me, i see the ZF logo on it!
Also, the headroom is a lot lower on both decks compared the B9TL to the B10TL!
I couldnt stand ...
Really, until now, all B9TL's of the KMB's
fleet are ZF 6HP592C transmissions as ZF
first sixth-gear fully-automatic transmission
in the world. KMB took part in this project.
On the other hand, I searched the news
from the other UK bus website, someone
spoke that Volvo will make the production
line for the 2-axle version of B9TL to replace
B7TL. (Notice : It's not confirmed.)
To Edward: the 4 buses for route 882 school bus all come from the reserve stock that Stagecoach imported to the Uk a few years ago. not all of them entered service- to this very day. no condors were bought by Stagecoach; NWFB sold some DAs to Ensign in the UK, and so far only ex DA5 was sold for further operation.
Height of the AVW and the B9 at duxford: I do not think that there is any difference there. same dimensions. as the electornic blinds appear to be identical to the AVWs, I could not see any *EXTERNAL* differences between the B7[AVW] and B9.
