I think subsidizing the bus companies to replace the new engines would be a better approach becoz
it is cheaper than buying the new buses.
Also, I would suggest the life span of non air-con buses can be extend to 25 yrs if their engines were
replaced to Euro 3 or more advanced emission standard becoz as other mentioned before, making
a new business is creating more pollution than maintaining the old buses. I believe the non air con buses
should surivive more longer than Fleetline becoz of advanced manufacturing technology.
