The billiance Hiace was changed due to the changing of the van's safety regulations in China, and the front of the Billiance Hiace was actually helped designed by Toyota. However, the others are knockoffs.
Also, reason of why Toyota Van/ Bus are copied by alot of companies in China is that most of the body panels/ parts are source by OEM of Toyota (That means toyota helped created this problem/ Toyota also profit from these knockoffs....this similar situtation has been happen in Vietnam and Phillippine) Toyota provide the body parts (Or in some cases Billiance provide the body parts, and those small manufacture use their own chassics, this is similar to the Coaster made by Yacao of GZ, you can see Toyota engraving at the windows even though it's not a toyota....I heard from a car dealer friends in China said that, by doing this, toyota will not lose that much $$$ because of piracy of it's Van and buses...
By the way, this is not a Jie Bei, but a Fotan, a Beijing company, and they also have license to produce Hiace (The body is made by either themselves or billiance though...)
