I was leafing through my BUSES a few days ago and I have discovered that there will be no free bus from Cambridge station this year, as an alternative, people are advised to catch the no. 7 bus to Duxford instead, but bus fares will be refunded when you buy your admission ticket for the museum. Although it does not affect me because I am a season ticket holder for any Stagecoach Cambridgeshire bus, having said that, I think it is just a bit mean, especailly it now costs £16 just to get in. To me, free bus service has always been part of the event, without the free bus, it just takes some of the fun out.
They are providing free transport anyway.
I think at this age of high fuel cost, the organizer may have
to make use of the empty seats on no.7 to cut their cost down...
