[LA, CA] 2009年第一貼: AVTA 的Neoplan Skyliner

在一次Yard visit 時所攝
AVTA在1997年買了三部 Neoplan 的 double decker , 每部車價值USD300,000, 由Neoplan (USA) 製造. 負責行走Lancaster 至 Downtown LA 的Communter 線 這批車高4m , 長35ft. 因為冷氣問題, 所以這部車大部分時間.這批車會在2009年退役, 但會繼續留廠 for special purpose,



Interior
upper deck 50seats

lower deck 10seats + 1 wheelchair space + 1 washroom


張相左面是座位, 右面(樓梯下)是廁所和wheelchair space

因為三部雙層退役, AVTA已訂了六部新的MCI

2009年AVTA將會有數部12 米 full-size 的 Diesel Electric Designline 巴士, 成為唯一一間可以買Diesel bus的南加州巴士公司.

呢間公司冇興趣試Enviro 500 咩?

12年就退...可惜...可以改做觀光車都不錯~!
外表同歐洲造的差不多

according to the fleet manager, he said AVTA won't consider double decker anymore, and they prefer to buy single deckers to replace them (double deckers), but i am quite excited to hear that it is ordering several Diesel - Electric Hybrid full size buses for local uses
