But...sometimes Aberdeen is warmer than the south.
bus services were resumed later in the day- not all of them and some-like the 36- only running part of the route.
rfL/London buses were heavily critisized in the media for decreeing that no buses would run till they OK it- this was done at mid day.
Although the last time we had such snow in London was 20 years ago, never in the history of bus service in London was the service completely suspended- not during the 1987 1981 1962/3 1947/8 severe winters, the bombing during the second world war, terorrist bombs and the like.
Information to the public was patchy and inaccurate.

The weather report said this time the snow affected the southern part of England more,
though there's snow everywhere in UK.
There's also heavy snow for the whole afternoon in Coventry, and that's why I stay in my
room for the whole day...
oh, yes, this morning- it is sunshine here in London- not a cloud in the sky; and most of the tube and bus services are back to normal! the snow moved from the London area up north....
Yes, they were... and they deserve full praise for that!!
but their services are not part of the Tfl/london buses route network, and they are based outside London.
I only wish london buses has shown only a little bit of the spirit thinking and committment shown by Ensign!
