Here is the Wright Integral Hybrid d/d bus on route 141: Arriva has 5 of those- HW1-5, and they appear on route 141, alongside the earlier hybrid prototype, referred to as 'HEV1'.
The 5 volvo B5L bybrids have not yet entered service, being still tested by Volvo and Arriva- when this is finished, those should join route 141 allocation.
there are 5 HWs, and so far [one week] 2-4 HWs out of the 5 were working during the day. there are no fixed duties for any of those; route 141 requires 23 buses offpeak [24 peak] on Mon-Fri and runs every 5-6minutes offpeak. so, it could be on any of those workings.
No one has any idea whether those buses would be working at weekends....
