今日在Downtown Long Beach, Long Beach Transit舉行新車發佈會, 就是NewFlyer 的 GE40LFA(第一間訂這個型號的公司). 因為新車的加入, Long Beach Transit 有50%的車隊是用混合燃料推動.

其實GE40LFA同DE40LFA有咩分別呢？

GE40LFA= powered by gasoline electric hybrid, use Ford Triton V10 Engine with ISE-Siemens Thundervolt TB40-HG hybrid system
DE40LFA= powered by diesel electric hybrid, use Cummins ISB or ISL (depend on the type of hybrid)

架車極速唔知高唔高呢

those hybrids have an excellent  acceleration which can compare with cars, but i don't know what is the top speed of the bus.
