Bus operator in Sydney are experiencing fuel consumption problem with B12BLE, especially with ZF gearbox, is a nightmare, that's why Veolia is trying Volvo I- Shift, and Voith (First new bus bodying in Australia with Voith gearbox for New South Wales for the last 10-15 years) for their fleet of 20 new Volvo B7RLE and B12BLE.

BTW, I am interested to know if ASU would use Volgren Bodywork since Hillbus in
Sydney, Australia have ordered the same chassis as ASU with Volgren Bodywork,
so it will not be a surprise that ASU3 and on are going to be under Volgren body.
Where did you hear the news from?
Because Hillsbus only commission Volgren to build double deckers for them, but no one know what chassis they are ordering yet.....At the moment not too many people know what's happening to the project as the double decker is having a weight issues problem. 20t is the GVM(Gross Vehicle Weight) here
But I really hope KMB will choose Volgren as the body for the new ASU.
