........
note the pleasing design of this bus- much better than the design used for the ASUs - KMB/HK! that's my own opinion!
That should not be your own opinion, I like this body too. There are innovative touches not even found in Wright...oh this is my opinion..
SP11 is part of the first 15 polish built scania d/ds delivered for London. They are now not standard- a bit lower than the later batch, engine spec is Euro 3, and TfL do not like the seating arrangement. so, the 15 buses currently on route 148 will be replaced by brand new scanias; the older SP1-SP15 will transfer to Hounslow for route 120.
well, the buses are actually low height,- i.e. SP1-15- and they are also Euro 4. Later buses are taller.
So the deal is that SP1-15 would be removed from central London service, and will serve route 120 instead, being replaced by newer SPs.

SP1-15 are not Euro 4. They are built on the N94UD chassis which was only available up to the Euro 3 standard. At the Euro 4 switchover, Scania moved on to the N230UD/N270UD which has a significantly different layout at the rear.

Did you take the photos of Enviro500 in San Francisco? If not, you miss it.
At the same time, I know there are couple VanHool TD925s
in the city and surrounded suburban area.
