No, the back end of this bus from the engine upward is actually shorter than any other Metrobuses. However only the engine compartment had been extended just to the same length as the others. Also the upper deck emergency exit has been replaced by a piece of glass which isn't original.
8110 belongs to the Aston Manor Road Transport Museum, which always have the intension to preserve an ex tracline Metro long time ago. MK2A 3053 will be repainted in Silver and Oxford Blue in the future. According to their owners, the preserved 2912 will be repainted back to Silver, red and blue original Timesaver livery, where another preserved 2957 will be repainted to 1 colour "French Blue" with gold "Timesaver" vinyls in the very near future.
