They are keeping these buses this long only because of their enormous capacity - something they cannot get anywhere else at the moment. They don't have to worry about DDA for now, not within the next 5 years certainly. By then, they can always look at the early tri-axle B9TLs in Dublin or Britain, which would start to get a bit old at that point. So if they can last mechanically, I won't be surprised to see these buses staying for quite some time.
