[Nottingham, GB] 英國首款乙醇引擎巴士

2007 年, Nottingham City Transport 引進3部全英第一款乙醇推動巴士
為提倡再生能源, 3 部車均行走改名為ECOLink 30 路線
雖然30 標榜為ECOLink, 全線用車亦混入標準柴油引擎的Scani OmniCity ...



呢三部乙醇巴士引擎空轉時非常嘈同響, 隔幾十米外都聽到佢引擎運作聲...
相反行車時噪音與普通巴士冇分別
至於行車表現, 可能因為波箱問題, 比較慢... 還是喜歡OPTARE SOLO..

From an enthusiast's point of view, Nottingham has a lot to offer.
If you are particularly like the Scanias, Nottingham is the place to be.
From Omnitowns to 18M Omnicity bendy.
You can find tham all in Nottingham.
If I remember correctly, NCT also have quite a few Omnilinks in 3 AXLES as well?

無錯! NCT 全線有好多SCANIA 車款, 新雙層巴士今年亦陸續加入車隊, 配上新款座椅 (英國巴士用快餐膠椅! 而非厚厚既絨椅)
除此之外亦有全新既單層SCANIA 配OPTARE 車身 (不過個人覺得好似一條魚...)
你所指既三軸單層在unilink 4 號行走, 好像只有1部? 因4號線幾乎全線都是bendy bus

其實除nct外, 其他midlands 巴士公司都較少採用scania,
所以我覺得nct 車隊都幾特別! (ADL + SCANIA + OPTARE, with few Mercedes, but no Volvo at all!!)

I see.
Scania buses are relatively rare outside Nottingham (in the Midland area at least).
I know neighbouring city like Leicester used to run quite a large fleet of Scania L113 and N113 but I believe they have all  gone as most of their services went low floor.

Not exactly, at least NXWM has got quite a large batch of Omnilink,
with some Omnicity double-deckers & bendis.
