The first New Bus for London, better known as the Borismaster locally, has been rolled out at Wrightbus' factory at Bellymena, Northern Ireland on Friday 4th Nov by the major of London, Boris Johnson. Registered LJ61CJE, this will be the first of the eight pre-production examples that will be delivered to Arriva London for use on the 38 from spring next year.
One thing I do not like about the Borismaster is its wheel design. Instead of using the traditional British ring-like wheel covers (like those on Leyland coaches), modern covers (like those on Volvo buses) are used. In my opinion, the NBfL would look much better and way more elegant with the traditional wheel covers.
