Malta:
90 buses have been preserved. Many buses are sent to scrap or destruction scene in film production. A few are deployed to tourist service. Some original public service buses have become non-route buses or kept by individuals.
Of course, you can still find CVG6, Fleetline, Routemaster, Titan, B10MD, N230UD, B7TL, Trident...

Thanks a lot, brother.
Can I take the original public service buses (especially the yellow classic buses) when I go there..... Is it easy to find them?? Just took some pix is ok... I guess there might be some heritage routes? In addition, had Arriva taken over the public bus service in Gozo and Comino Islands? I saw some pix of silver old buses in Gozo before...
I am deciding whether I stay a few more days in Frankfurt or Munich as I have to transfer plane at either of these 2 places.
I did not play sports and recreational activities... just would like to see more historical buildings/places, taking scenery and bus photos and performed some shopping. As mentioned by brother ML29, I guess Munich might be a better place for me. I can take 12-14 days holiday. I decide to spend 6D5N to travel around Malta (3 islands) and spend 4-5days in Germany.
6D5N in Malta: Do you think it is too much for a tourist who just took photos and enjoy the scenery of Mediterrian but not playing any water-sports?
4-5days in Munich: Do you think I could occupy the time and would not feel bored there?...
Thanks a lot, brother.

All public bus services has been taken over by Arriva. Some of them were second hand from ATP. But all those buses are SLF buses. You may take a photo or two of the classic ones if you see those preserved buses run around. Please note that some Arriva routes are currently subcontracted to private operators.
I guess there might be some heritage routes? No idea. But there are quite a handful of sightseeing routes and packages.
In addition, had Arriva taken over the public bus service in Gozo and Comino Islands? I saw some pix of silver old buses in Gozo before... There are still some for school / charter service in Gozo. There is no bus in Comino.

Definitely. Although you need to check the timings of LH flights and the cost. Germany in Feb / Mar could be very cold and wet.

I spent 2 weeks and I only covered 80-90% of quality attractions. There are too many things for you to see in Malta, especially the prehistoric sites, various natural scenery and churches. You may assume that I spent 10-20% of time on bus spotting and the rest sight seeing.

It depends on how you spend it. There should be enough variety of buses for you to spot, although tourist spots are far less attractive than those in Malta.
FRA, FCO and LHR / LGW are the major European transfer spots to Malta. People usually visit Malta through these ports.
I was not as rich as you to use take LH to Malta, although LH has the most flights amongst European airlines to MLA. I tried EK and you should find both service and price considerably attractive, although you cannot visit Germany with EK. When I checked EK's price just now versus what I did in 2011, the price has increased by 15% although it is still the cheapest!
Staying at Munich for 5 days is not too much. If you really feel bored, there are many 1-day trips to nearby cities / countryside and they are really good. e.g. Oberamagau / Mt Zugspitz, Fuessen (Neutschwanstein), Konigsee, Kehlhaus... You can only do 1 of them a day. Bus travelling time about 1-2 hours to / fro the destination.
You should spend more time on Gozo if you have a little more. I have not been to Comino, but I think 1/2 day is enough.
There are attractive sightseeing packages on those buses. Apart from City Sightseeing, you can also try Malta Sightseeing. You may also try other newer operators.
Agent quote air ticket only 坐Luftansa, HKG->Munich(stay few days)->Malta
Malta->Frankfurt->HKG [全程>$11K]
兩個人成個Trip Budget 約$35-40K, 師兄你覺得行程同budget如何?
Accommodation in Malta plus spending in Munich can be expensive, it depends on where you stay and what you eat.

Really thanks very much for your advice, Anthony.
