LDN: Wright streetlite enters service with First

Here is the s/d model from Wright called the Streetlite;a couple of 10.2m long dual door vehicles have been constructed as 'demonstrators', and one of them has entered service with
First - WJ garage [on routes 226 228 and maybe 187].

Here is the vehicle- VM47400 - at Shepard's Bush.

looks weird... mixture of a Wright, a E200, and a Solo (look how much the body extend from the front axle!)

Rumours say that NXWM has also purchased a batch of Streetlite and are expected
to enter service in 2013.

Cannot agree.  Some of the Chinese designs are better than this.  For example those Yutongs and Higers in Macau.

Back to Streetlite, the version w/o front overhang is still acceptable; this one........

This windscreen cannot suit into every design of body....Maybe Wright have to try something else...
