The scope of works comprises the design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery, pre-delivery inspection for 28 super low floor double-decker buses. The carrying capacity of each bus shall be 120 or above with a length not exceeding 12 metres. The buses shall meet the current legislation and code of practice in Hong Kong. The buses shall be designed and equipped with key features including full aluminium body structure, ramp and parking space for wheelchair, air suspension, power assisted steering, brake system with ABS / ASR, integrated CCTV system, exit door obstruction detection device, Euro 5 emission standard engine, A/C system with environmental type refrigerant such as R134a, electronic destination display unit, fleet management system, support cradle for driver display unit, bus card processor and engine fire suppression system. Warranty and comprehensive maintenance support shall also be provided.
