MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the replacement of 69 sets of powered point operating equipment for Light Rail (LRL).
The existing powered point operating equipment in LRL will be replaced with new powered point operating equipment including the point machines, roddings and the associated peripherals. The new powered point operating equipment shall be of proven design, with satisfactory records in light rail networks worldwide and in compliance with the Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 4 of Standard EN 50129. In the replacement works, the existing LRL signalling control interface with the powered point operating equipment will be modified from 750V d.c. to 220V a.c. power supply. The powered point operating equipment will also interface with the existing turnout rails in LRL.
