KMB put less emphasise of route 40 after the starting of 290/290A.When leaving Tsuen Wan in PM,290A was fully seated,while no of passengers route 40 cant even fill in the window seat.Route 40 only picks up passengers in Kwai Fong in case of they cant get aboard 290/290A.
Personally,i think kmb is very willing to kill 40 after the opening of "Yau Tong-Tsuen Wan "Line ,as the fare is too low compared to other choice (8.8 vs 9.2/10.7).Also ,40 only charge 6.4 in MEIFOO@@,which is unreasonable
