The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited (“KMB”) hereby openly invites Expression of Interest for the below subject. For the purpose of this EOI, KMB is acting on and behalf of Transport International Holdings Limited (“TIH”) and TIH’s affiliate company(ies).

Subject Supply Scope：
KMB intends to appoint quality contractor(s) to supply passenger seats with 3-point safety belts and provide retrofit installation and related services in the upper saloon of around 353 double deck buses for franchised operations in Hong Kong.
(1) Supply Vogel passenger seats on around 350 Volvo buses with Wright body;
(2) Supply Lazzerini passenger seats on 3 Volvo buses with Gemilang body;
(3) Retrofit installation, type approval certification and commissioning services at KMB’s designated sites;
(4) Disposal services for the displaced seats; and
(5) Full compliance with all legislative requirements for franchised bus operations in Hong Kong
EOI Submission Deadline：
24 Jun 2021 (10:00 am, Hong Kong Time)
In case a rainstorm black warning or typhoon signal No. 8 or above is valid for any duration between 9:00 a.m. (HKSAR Time) and 12:00 noon (HKSAR Time), the closing time will be extended to 12:00 noon (HKSAR Time) on the next weekday (i.e. except Saturday and Sunday) other than public holiday.
Prequalification Requirement：
Interested party(ies) shall provide the below details upon EOI submission:
(i). Reference project(s) as proof of its ability to act as turnkey contractor for the supply and provision of the above mentioned goods and services; and
(ii). Reference project(s) in carrying out retrofit works and obtaining bus re-type approval from Transport Department of the HKSAR Government with technical support and endorsement by the bus manufacturer of the respective bus.

All interested parties shall complete and return the following by email to tender.copper@kmb.hk (in PDF format) before the EOI Submission Deadline:
(1) Copy of Business Registration / Company Incorporation Certificate
(2) EOI Registration Form (blank form is attached), duly completed and signed with company chop.
(3) Information required as Prequalification Requirement as stated above.
