To 7483 : I believe that u went into the facilities and took photos of the buses without any form of authorization from any of the personnals over there. I think it would be a better idea if u take the photos down in order to prevent urself from getting into any of the unnecessary trouble which you might be looking at. Not forgetting that you actually transpassed a private property to begin with. You will never know who is reading this thread in the very first place. Do not assume that by posting in a foreign forum would mean that u are safe.
is there a reason why HK operators never considered Citaro, apart from its price? (I assume it is expensive?)
Not even DBay, which operated a few O405s before...
...and? Both are highly capable and comfortable vehicles, what is the problem? Bear in mind the Citaro, being a full low-floor bus, will cost a premium anyway. Above all, full low-floor buses are very hard come by in HK, the only examples being the few MANs with Discovery Bay and the two "coming soon" E400s.
