算唔算係英國巴士工業大新聞：Ashok Leyland takes Optare stake

喺Ashok Leyland個網見到有一部疑似Irizar Intercentury 2車身嘅巴士
有冇人知佢咩來頭?

當年optare起家係買左roe的廠房開始
用roe原本的車身幫尾期的奧林裝車身
有人話過Optare Spectra的設計有d跟roe

By the end of its existance, yes, alongside ECW and (up to its demise) Park Royal.

The Spectra is not just a development of the Roe bodywork, but rather more a modified ECW Olympian coach bodywork (aka Citybus C102-5). In any case, both the Roe and ECW bodywork originated from the same line of designate - that from the Titan.

Charles H. Roe was taken over by Park Royal in late 1940s according to Wikipedia (actual date conflicted between sources) to form Associated Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (ACV). The merged company was then snapped up by Leyland Motors in 1962, before Leyland was itself nationalised in the 1975.

SOLO 好似唔係MCW帶過去的車款, 反而記得OPTARE Metrorider先係...

搭單一問:
1. 宜家Optare 仲有沒有出雙層巴士?
2. 有沒有出過低地台板的Spectra?
3. 有沒有出過12m 三軸板的Spectra?
4. 有沒有人知為何當年Optare唔食住上向MCW的大買家九巴同中巴sell 三軸板Spectra及冷氣板?

佢省略左o者...但solo係騎士後代我覺得都正確
低地台板的Spectra...咪DB250LF囉....早過trident的SLF
Optare出過部概念巴士...早幾年前...不過而家都無左件事lu...得ELC帶比佢的車身

為左土耳其，遲遲都比唔到車黎香港．最後Optare話比到
部DB250（Spectra）比香港，香港唔知比間公司（九巴？）
話唔駛黎算數．以上只係聽聞．

P.S.
Optare Metrorider係MCW Metrorider後代，之後進化做Solo．
Optare Spectra用左Metrobus部份零件（驅動軸已經係）．
其他的都係用DAF做底盤0的車多．．．
